:: Coming Down The Pike ::

Before we get consumed by CMJ take this Saturday show and smoke it. Tigercity is my most recent NYC love. Add them to a laundry list, but know this - they stand out and will make you want to dance. What is more fun than dancing on a Saturday night. Go to their Myspace page and listen to "Are You Sensation" and tell me it doesn't have you dreaming of nights where dad would cruise you through town with the sun roof down and Billy Ocean pumping through the stereo. No? Well, then fuck you. Read what the Tripwire thought if you think I'm without credibility. Doubling up this tremendous bill is The Dansettes who bring the funk / soul vibe that will have you dreaming of the better days. This is not to be missed.
:: A Personal Note ::
Last night's Black Sheep release party was a blast and a resounding success. Outside of the mildly douchee club, the evening kicked ass. The crowd was outstanding, the black vodka flowed, my international door crew held it down, Bazooka Joe kicked ass on the wheels of steal and Dres held it down with a 25 minute teaser set of mostly new jams off 8WM/NOVAKANE. To all you kids who think I'm fronting (this is my street talk), give the record a chance. It is a "REAL" hiphop record and the Black Sheep camp is a fucking pleasure to work with. Thanks to all the familiars who came out. Now pick up that joint!
