Ok, so maybe I'm not always the early adapter I'd like myself to be. In fact, I've missed the boat many times, but not because I didn't know. It was more about not wanting to know. What the fuck is a Podcast and why should I care? Well, the first part remains unanswered, but the second part can be easily answered by checking out the laundry list of KEXP Live Podcasts available for iTunes. I'm currently listening to the Dr. Dog, Cold War Kids & Elvis Perkins collective jam with Art Brut, Ghostland Observatory, Soul Position, Favorite Sons, Band of Horses, The Little Ones and so on. It's heaven in my headphones right now.

Speaking of shit you should already know about, but maybe you don't already know about; The End of the World is gearing up to release their debut full-length - You're Making It Come Alive courtesy of Flameshovel Records on 10.17.06. You may have seen these guys at the Fontana's birthday throwdown or you may have seen them last year's Loose Christmas party. If you did, you know how perfect they are and if not, you need to come check them out as we join together for a record release party next Friday (10.20.06) at the Mercury Lounge.
