*** Mr. Simple Mission dropped his weekly dose of exclusive tracks on my inbox this morning. The suspect in question is the dirty indie rock outfit Blood On The Wall. Elliot informs us that their new record, titled Awesomer, will be released on September 6th by The Social Registry. Now I've never been to vocal about this band, but their self-titled debut LP was one of my favorite records of last year. It still gets regular attention on my iPod. It's like a step-father with his teenage daughter. I can go a couple weeks without checking in, but then I take it out for ice cream and its all butter.
