In more relevant news there are some new tours rocking this summer and More Cowbell is continually in the know so if you live in areas outside of NYC then check it out. Here is what I found for the Big Apple:*** Iron and Wine @ Webster Hall (June 16th and 17th)
*** Ted Leo and the Pharmacists @ Irving Plaza (June 26th)
*** Dinosaur Jr @ Central Park Summer Stage (July 14th)
A couple Warsaw dates:
*** The Bravery (May 17th)
*** The Decembrists (May 26th)
Here are some summer dates lifted from Brooklyn Vegan, (yes, I’m getting lazy):
June 4th: The Killers @ Central Park Summerstage
June 11th: They Might Be Giants @ South Street Seaport
June 14th: The Pixies @ Jones Beach
June 25th: New Pornographers @ Prospect Park Bandshell
July 16th: Coney Island Siren Festival
July 19th: Elvis Costello @ Central Park Summerstage
July 4th: Stephen Malkmus & Yo La Tengo @ Battery Park
July 14th: Calexico @ Castle Clinton National Monument

Kaiser Chiefs’ Saturday Night is on WOXY and yes, it still rips straight from Pennywise’s Bro Hymn. Damn them. Damn them to hell, (but they’re so cute).
I don’t know what this will entail, but on June 5th at The Bowery there is a special evening with Nick Hornby and Marah. Once I get some details, they will surely be passed on. On May 10th Diamond Nights are playing The Mercury Lounge. This should finally serve as a good opportunity to see a band everyone’s talking about.
