First of all let me send out a big thank you to each and everyone of you who helped make my birthday weekend kick so many asses. It was truly an exercise in untactful hedonism. A special thank you goes to the boys at 540 Henry who provided us with the killer location and gracious hosting. If you are the bastard who stole a book from Jeff’s room, please return it to me and I won’t cause a stink. I know that won’t happen, but stealing shit from the party house is one of the greatest dick moves of all time. Right your wrong. A sorry goes out to Max for breaking his nose open. I love you. Do you still love me? Thanks also to the door at 186 for not letting me into the apartment at 3am which forced me to hit 151 to take shots by myself. Thanks to Noah for the kick ass gift certificate. Thanks to Dana for taking me shopping on Saturday and helping me act my age, (or at least dress like it). Thanks to The Shins for sounding so fucking great on Saturday night. Thanks to Stevo for being hilariously hammered at Local. Thanks to Dirty On Purpose for stopping by 186 for a hang and an interview last night. Finally, thanks to my mom simply because she doesn’t get enough praise.With all that being said, Good Times Roll is going to coast through this week due to a massive amount of work that must be done for Loose Record. You may get the occasional heads up for tickets or an amazing show, but the time spent on this blog will have to be cut back considerably. This isn’t the planned farewell I’ve discussed. Every time I ponder my life without Good Times Roll, I struggle to find a personal creative outlet. I’ll still be here and hopefully the show list will stay updated, but for the next week or two, the Good Times will be severely shortened.
