What Would We Do Without Friends?

After a solid lunch at the Waverly Diner, Noah and I returned to my office to hang for a quick minute. Then I was graced by an IM message from Tumblehawk that read, “Best tattoo ever.” Not being one to pry, I deferred the chance to ask him how the hell he found this, but it does raise some questions. Anyway, this might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Sorry about making my site totally not safe for work, but this is a must see. Click this link. Don’t worry, it’s not too bad, but boy is it funny and completely mind boggling.

Tonight The Deli is throwing their 2nd Issue launch party at Sin-e. This issue will feature a page of bloggers hyping their favorite local acts, and you guessed it, I showed some love to the boys in
Sam Champion, (who are playing this Tuesday @ Mercury). This party will surely be packed so stop in early if you get the chance. The bill includes sets by Nicole Atkins, Mudville, Hopewell, Hello Nurse and The Epochs. There is also a 2 for 1 special on Red Stripe from 8 to 10pm. You can check out The Deli and get all the information by visiting their website.

Sidenote: The Go! Team’s single, The Power Is On just played on WOXY and it just reminded me how disappointed I was by their show this week. It’s a damn shame. Thank god they saved face by following it with British Sea Power.

Tomorrow night Justin Carter and the
New Release New York crew are throwing down another boogie down production at Asterisk* Art Project in Brooklyn. The party was featured in this weeks Flavorpill NY mailer by yours truly. Check out the listing for details along with this bitching flyer.

Hey Jay,

It's 4:40 in the morning and I'm 2 pages into a 5 page paper ripped on adderall and bonghits and I missed you dressed as a bunny and I want to slam my head against the table repeatedly, thanks for listening.

Your bud,
Tumblefuckinweed
