A Few Quick Weekend Notes.

First and foremost, I’d like to say congratulations to Dirty On Purpose (and Jin!) for finalizing their deal with North Street Records. Seeing your friends work together for mutual gain is truly a wonderful thing. This news came last night via text message from Josh. North Street is a new label run by the dynamic duo: Chris Howerton and Josh Builder. We all knew it was going to work out. It was only a matter of time. Good luck on the Tour guys!

I’m sorry for pulling a major Belin last night. I’m going back to sleep in an effort to prevent the same thing from happening this evening. Speaking of tonight, go see The Stands at Mercury Lounge. They play at 9pm sharp. They really impressed me last night. Word to the wise; only go if you like rock n’ roll.

Finally, it has been brought to my attention that the cops suck. What I meant to say is Todd P's space had a bit of a raid last night by the police and fire departments. My source (DF?) said that if steps aren't taken to make the space legit, then the future of Llano Estacado remains indefinite. Hopefully Todd can work it out and keeps promoting through the underground.
