First of all, get your ass down to the Luna Lounge this evening for a set by my friends in Arbor Day. Your chances to attend gigs at the Luna are coming to an end, so go support the club that supported the scene for so long. If you like Pavement, Dilly or the Beach Boys, you will probably dig on Arbor Day. They hit at 10:30pm and Luna is located on Ludlow between Houston and Stanton.
If you missed the last Shindig! you don't know the goodness of this new DIY party. Next week you are getting another opportunity to check out some great bands for only $10. Did I mention an open bar? Unfortunately I have to work, so no dice for me, but I strongly recommend you checking this one out. Just look at the bitching line up!
