Writing about Loose Record got me a bit excited about the project. This prompted me to check in on my boy's website. If you don't know the story, back in August, I was prepared to move home to save some funds prior to moving to Portland. The specifics were worked out with Mama Belin and I was planning to ditch out in September. These plans were thwarted by Graeme's out of nowhere email that contained a front page for Loose. What he sent me looked so good that it would be completely moronic of me not to push things forward. Now we are well on our way to becoming a Real-Deal-Hollyfield web publication, and I have Graeme to thank for it. Though he is miles away in London, I hope he can feel the love. nice. you'd probably have hated portland. on a lighter note, i basically got a criminal record today for utter bullshit that wasn't my fault when i was trying to do someone an innocent favor. i was lucky enough to get fucked over by one of those brush-cut, know-it-all cops who won't shut up and just had prove a point. ya, i had a great day. scat
plus, i saw that yankees game yesterday. it really was heartbreaking. still you have to admit, it was a fucking killer game to watch- exciting as hell, even for a lukewarm baseball fan like me. scat
