Get your ass to Rothko this evening for the 1 year anniversary of Vicious. This party has sprouted into an extremely credible indie night since Audrey and Jasper first produced the event. This evening will feature a super hot set by Karen and Sivan aka Demander. Tell me you aren't hot and bothered by two beautiful girls hammering out heart pounding rock. Go ahead, try it. They hit on the late side, but get there early for sets by Snowden (newest buzz band), Hula and The Twenty-Twos. If you haven't been to Rothko yet, here is your chance to check out the new hot spot. But you don't have to take my word for it.

this skinny little nerdy guy goes to prison - he's well educated, and not in the mood for this dirty prison business. he gets thrown into a slammer with a big, tattoed black guy, who upon the closing of the gate walks over to him real slow-like and says "now, we gon' play...and you can eitha be the Mamma, or the Papa. what's it gon' be?" little nerdy guy says "Well, I certainly didn't expect to be playing, and I would rather not play at all, in fact. Hey Jay - I see on the show list Dirty on Purpose is playing at Office Ops? I'm jonesing to see them live, what/where exactly is Office Ops? All I can imagine is a concert in a cubicle. - Tumbleweed
Tumble, google their name. Its a space out in bklyn. Kyle and i actually looked at an apartment in the building. An easy L train ride from the city. It's a cheap party. a rock n' roller skate where they put the bands in a cage in the middle of a wooden room and kids roller skate around them. It's a lot of fun and beer is pretty cheap. may be a good time to go psychedelic. ha.
heh heh, we'll see about that...by the way, I was just on Pollstarr tooling around.....anyone else think it's strange Tom Jones is doing a four-night run at Irving Plaza?
