The rain has finally stopped (for now) so we should all take this opportunity to get off the couch and see some rock n' roll. Buzz Shmuzz. Fuck the hype. Fuck the blogs, (including GTR). Fuck the L.E.S. Wait, I retract the last one. Anyway, you shouldn't listen to any of us. You should go to Sin'e tonight and find out first hand why we are all gushing over Dennis and his new three-piece Sons of Sound. They hit at 9pm sharp. If you can get there early, check out Johnny Lives.
If you aren't one of the lucky ones taking your special friend to see Prince, than come hang out with the kids and see some great rock n' roll before anyone has the chance to claim its great rock n' roll.
After the show, I'll be heading up to Bside to celebrate Cami's 23rd with the crew. By her drinks and play her Neil Young songs. Come with us and make my Wednesday rrraw-some.
Jordan just IM'd me to remind my forgetful ass that The Head Set are hitting at Pianos this evening around 11pm. Get there a bit early for Fenway's The Love Scene, but make sure to stick around for the high cheekbones and new found L.E.S. swagger of The Head Set. Trust me, you can get girls just for liking this band. It's been proven.
