So I do have 1 extra ticket available for the Franz Ferdinand show this evening at Webster Hall. If you want it, its $25 (yeah, ticketmaster sucks) and you will have to meet up with us before the show. It's that simple. You won't be disappointed by this show, I can promise you that much.

Plus bidi, did you see some of those shows James did last year? they were down right awful. i would recommend seeing him, but wow, it was dissappointing. plus, i'm not a huge enon fan, and i don't cross the river (that often). gang gang rocks so rock out with them for me. I'll be busy dancing to the boys from UK.
James Chance hasn't played a good show since 1978.
yeah, i haven't heard excepter and felt bad about leaving them out, haha, so yeahhh. i don't doubt the suckage. but i sure do like me some gang gang dance.
i've heard mixed things about james's recent shows -- some people have said his sets are sloppy, pretend-jazz, and then other people have said they were damn fine. then again, the latter are the same people most likely to be on, ahem, something during his performance... i suppose this means that i did a good thing by not buying tickets yet and saving my money...for !!! the next evening. gang gang dance is playing with black dice at bowery in august, so i guess i can wait. are any of you going to the !!! afterparty?
side note*: anna, i'm going to try really hard to get back to the city in time for your show. and we still have to make arrangements for knife skills to play live on wbar! that shit'll wack, yo.
bidi, yeah, james is definitely a hit or miss at this point, but the franz brought the rock last night. great stuff. as for tonight, its all about !!! and the afterparty. if you see me, introduce. i don't know what you look like, but we should have a bevvie.
