So making party isn’t easy. Usually the elements for a healthy portion of party come together smoothly, but that isn’t the case for the blowout we are planning tomorrow. There is a lot of back and fourth mixed with some mild frustration that makes things difficult, but luckily Hawkin’s level headed attitude balances out my persistent need of perfection and control. Let me just announce now that you will want to get to the party early because we are giving away FREE Tiki Coladas from 10pm until 11pm. DJ Jinners will be filling your ears with goodness during that hour. Around 11pm Eric from Say Hi To Your Mom is going to play a few songs for the crowd. Then Dennis Cahlo (Sons of Sound & Realistics) will control the wheels of steel for a bit before Melody Nelson brings the hits. If any of your are still standing once all of that is finished up, than I will play some tracks that will lead us blindly into the night, (by tracks I mean a Queen mix cd). Sound like fun? Sound like party? Well, you are right.
So I’ve probably made it apparent that last night was spent taking care of little tasks for Thursday. Erin and Dano picked me up from work and came over to hang out and order some shib. Cami and Builder both showed up so the four of them hung out in my room playing the best video game ever; Mario Tennis. I ended up having to put together this compilation disc that each and everyone one of you will receive at the party tomorrow night. Once that was completed Builder, Cami and I decided to hit Festival for some cheap Mexican grub. It may have been our worst Festival outing ever. Though Cami and I are huge fans, we were both discouraged by the length of time it took for us to get our Margaritas. The food was fine, but again they were slammed and only had one waitress so we waited and exorbitant amount of time. We quickly threw back our entrees and got the fuck out of dodge.
Cami then came back to 186 with us to help me put together the giveaway bags for tomorrow night. People, let me tell you, you are going to want one of these so keep your fingers crossed. We have tons of cd’s, t-shirts and other gear to pass out. We started putting bags together, but it didn’t work out because we need something to put them in. Kyle is hooking that up today so I can pack it all up tonight.
So anyway, I may be going to the Strokes show tonight. Are you going to be there? My chances are slim, but I’m holding out hope. If I don't do that than I'm going to try and make the Knife Skills set at Pianos because Anna is Badass. Don't mess with Texas.
