Say It With Me... Party.
Now that the weekend has officially started (by the Williamsburg rule of Thursday is the new Friday) I can discuss this weekend's party plans without any guilty feelings. If you have yet to hear about the birthday parties going down this weekend, then you better listen up, take notes and tell your friends. I'll go in chronological order so no one is confused:
Friday (16th) Night Keg in the Burg!
This party is sponsored by Mike "Your Baby's Daddy" Rothfeld and Katie "Get Your Hands Up My Skirt" Notopolous who are splitting the duty of birthday shithead. Katie's birthday was on Tuesday while Mikey's victory day is today (Happy Birthday you sexy beast). The party is being held at Katie and Amy's apartment and will kick off around 10pm. The directions follow:
- 43 Bushwick Ave #2f, Williamsburg.
- Take the L to Grand St. Take a left when you exit the subway.
- #43 is 2 blocks down where Ainslie St would be if it went through the other side of Bushwick.
Saturday (17th) Night Shitshow in Alphabet City!
This party is being held in honor of Josh "Meat is Murder" Builder, Jay "I'm Now MIA" Belin and Kyle "The Imaginary Friend" Lawrence. If you haven't worn yourself out by this point, make sure to come by Bside where we will be sharing in the joy of cheap tequila and free jello shots. Sivan has approved the latter and we plan to turn this place out. I know it will be packed, but what better way to make out with someone? And don't hog the bathrooms with your make out partners, some people don't like peeing in the street. So we will turn this place out around 10pm so get there early so we can get superfucked by 11pm. Did I say there will be free Jello shots. Look at how college I am.
- Bside is on Avenue B between 12th & 13th Street.
- Come ready to be Culkined.
Holy O.C.
This show just won't quit. After all the drama last night, they have the balls to show Teressa in the upcoming episode. Why won't that girl go away? Ok, so it looks like Eddie is beating her up, but why does she have to run to Ryan? Anyway, last night's episode was shared by Kristen, Adam, Noah, D, Kyle, Puja and I. Who knew Puja was such a diehard fan? So Julie Cooper is going to be Cohen's grandma and Sandy's mother-in-law! Kaleb's black mailing of Marissa was way out of line. Poor Jimmy, if only he could have refrained from being a crook. And Luke, oh Luke. You will no longer be in our show. I can't say I'm upset, but they could have at least killed him in the car accident. C'mon...!
Another Lazy Night.
It was in fact another night of doing nothing. Burke and Amy came over for a quick hang before they head to Canada and then back to Australia. Burke gave me a cd that his band Gerling made. I'll get into that more later, but for now, I have a deadline to hit, so that's all you get.
Today's Ipod Mix included: Oasis, Shakemaker; Libertines, I Get Along; Neil Young, After the Gold Rush; Pavement, 2-Rich is Stained; Blur, For Tomorrow; Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Century City; Pixies, Bone Machine; Nirvana, Serve the Servants; Gang of Four, History is Bunk!; Minor Threat, Sob Story; Seachange, Glitterball.
