Lazy Daze...
So I was all set to head to the Pill Offices after work yesterday, that is until my afternoon started. It was a particular hell I would rather not elaborate on. It exhausted me and by the time I arrived at home, I was only physically capable of sleeping. This lasted until 9pm. At that time I got up and watched a bitching documentary on the Lincoln's. Did anyone else watch channel 13 last night? Who knew Mary Lincoln was so crazy? Well, at least not me.
Today's Bits and Pieces.
Call it the teenager in me, but dammit I'm glad to see these three SoCal boys are back in the business of making catchy punk that puts their Blinking brothers to shame.
Just incase your Ipod isn't small enough, check out the new Ipod Mini. Who ever said size matters was right.
The Music give us some insight on their upcoming record. They are laying claim to some pretty solid influences. I have a feeling this record with kick the shit out of their stellar debut.
I dig on Blondie and all, but I don't know if they should still be making records. Hopefully they will prove me wrong and make me play the fool. Did anyone see Ms. Harry in Spun? Now she is rapping again. Take a collective gasp.
If you haven't heard already, the Shins are on tour. Get your tickets while they are still available.
Filter gives us the new record Tuesday news. I know this could kill any ounce of cred I have left, but I'm going to get that Phantom Planet album. Yup, I said it.
The Village Voice catches on to Ohio's budding Dance/Punk/Funk band Stylex. Check out their official website here.
Is the UK going the route of Sweden? What's next, government funding for playing in a band? Sign me up.
More problems in the land of malls and babysitting money. Can't we all get along?
That's all for now kids, enjoy and I'll keep digging.
