Big props go out to Cami who hooked up Travis, Hawk, Stevo and I with tickets to last nights Knicks game. It was an amazing game. With 19 seconds left to play, the Knicks were down 6 so we headed to the street. When we got to the lobby of the Garden there was a crowd around a screen showing newly aquired Stephon Marbury pounding his chest. They had tied the game. We ran back up the stairs and made it to court level. We watched the overtime from 25 rows back. Though the Knicks lost, it made for a killer night of sports. Thanks again Cami!
I was under the impression that Karen (Demander) and John (Ariel Love Feed) would be spinning at Bside last night so the boys and I shot over there. John had canceled at the last minute, but we managed to salvage the evening in the back room. Mikey and Builder showed up along with Sivan and even Karen. Much to the enjoyment of everyone, Amy showed up with more baked goods for the drunk kids. There was a lot of talk about the O.C. PotLuck which will be going down on Wednesday. The most updated list of characters is posted below. Josh and Will are in need of pinch hitters since they won't be making it. Chose a character, email me, and I will get you in. Ash abandons the UK heads to Sound City Studios in Cali in an attempt to make it easier to label them. This could go either way.
Why is Brit Pop Culture so much better than ours? The Brit Awards Nominees are announced, and they seem to hit the nail on its head. Well, at least they come closer than their counterparts across the pond.
Go see this Band. You won't be dissappointed. Hopefully I can catch them tonight at Pianos.
I don't know how I feel about this. Good for them. Its a nice opportunity to hit a larger demographic, but after Jack's tirade at the Roseland Ballroom, this kind of gig shouldn't be embraced. He's a fucking poser.
