Wednesday's Music News...

First of all let me say that I just got a flu shot after waiting for 1 hour and a half. It was a pain in the ass, but the doctors their told me we are in for one hell of a season. Friends, get out there and protect yourself. You don't want to miss any Good Times because you caught a spot of the flu.

Dear Pixies: Thank you for coming back in anyway shape or form. I'm highly anticipating this release.

This sounds like a party I won't want to miss. Hopefully Graeme will still be in the Glasgow area, and if not, its gonna be a roadtrip, limey style.

Speaking of the Scots, someone at Spin seems to dig Franz Ferdinand.

Can anyone hear that? Its the sound of Noah getting excited.

Pitchfork Media gets their Marquee Moon Reissue review correct. Television is one of those bands whose greatness cannot be denied.

The Darkness, Junior Senior, The Libertines, Kings of Leon, The Postal Service and many more solid records make the Rolling Stones' Top 50 of 2003. For all the hits, there sure are a lot of misses.

Hammer don't hurt um. That's right folks, MC Hammer is back to teach us life lessons through a WB sitcom. Could this be as good as LL Cool J's show? Doubtful.

The Onion gives us an amazing headline and a better story.

The A.V. Club drops their Least Essential Albums of 2003 on the public along with a review of The Darkness' Permission to Land. Can you really say the Macho Man's record isn't essential listening. Damn those Onion kids are bold.

The Post covers the Can the Ban movement. I'd like to say that even though I'm not a smoker, it is an essential activity to night life and now that its cold, let the pretty girls back inside.

Thats all for now kids.
