Pissed and Hungover...
While looking at myself in the mirror this morning, I couldn't help but think that in some sick way I've distorted the meaning Advent and transformed it into some perverted drunken mess. Last night was amazing, and right now I'm paying for it.
It all started at my favorite time of day, Happy Hour. I strolled up to Bside to see Sivan who was working her bar. She kept the drinks flowing and the conversation rolling. Its always a pleasure to stop into a bar that is run a bitchin girl who treats you like a champ. Karen came through and we all did a little catching up.
Liz reminded me that I was late to the Flavorpill holiday party, so I jumped in a cab and met her by her apartment. We walked into a solid party down at the office. There was a ton of free booze and even more cool people. I haven't been around the office since summer time so see kids like Sascha, Mark, Keats, Jen, Peter, Jocelyn and the list could roll on. My friend Megan also works in the office now, so it was great to hang and drink some wicked party punch, (it rivaled mine). The office was decked out, and I'm really excited to get back down there and start working in the evenings.
By this time I was half in the bag and we had to run out to meet the Beach's at the Mercury. We rolled in and ran into all the kids who were there to catch the Headset's show. We caught the tail end of the Orange Park show and the Hong Kong's entire set. I wasn't impressed by the Hong Kong. I've seen them before and they have the potential to put together a great set, but last night, something seemed off. I'd try to elaborate, but right now, I'm incapable and there are movers her to pack my desk up.
Quick News Bites...
Here are two reasons I should've been in London the past couple days. (one and two). New York is played. I need to jump ship and head across the pond.
Michael Jackson is charged with 7 counts of baby fucking and 2 counts of drugging them. Put him away so we can all forget about him. The King of Pop is dead.
I can't wait to go back to Pennslyvania to see this on the big screen. I also can't wait to go home to visit Walmart who seems to be making a move into the download market.
Noah just passed me this link. It's a hilarious blog list of the Top OC moments of 2003.
Thats it for now. Let me know what's in the mix for this evening.
