I'm like a young school girl...

So I'm hoping all of you stayed in your cozy apartments last night drinking wine and watching Fox. They provided me with enough reason to ward off any alluring shows or bevvie opts.

Allow me to rewind for a second. After work I went to Tower Records to pick up the new box set titled No Thanks! The 7T's Punk Rebellion along with the DVD containing the works of Spike Jones and the Marc Spitz novel, How Soon is Never? Though I haven't jumped into the novel yet, I can say I'm happy with my other purchases. The DVD features video's from Weezer (Undone, Buddy Holly), Wax (California), Beastie Boys (Sure Shot, Sabatage), Breeders (Cannonball) and many others that kick serious ass. Go purchase Spike's DVD now. You won't be sorry.

So I cruised back home and to get geared up for the upcoming episodes of The Simple Life and The O.C. Mr. Hawkins came by to get in some necessary hang time before he heads to this country later today. Unfortunately, Josh, Mike and Miriam showed up as Paris and Nicole were arriving on a Dairy Farm. This threw the whole balance off. I ended up painting during the rest of the show, but settled back in for the O.C. Amy and Katie showed up for the Cali goods, and we were all quite surprised when Summer revealed her Wonder Woman present. Seth handled the situation like a champ, but me, I would have gotten nervous and left. Either way, this is a good point to stop talking about the O.C.

So we drank beers till the day rolled over. We were joined by the Zangrilli sisters. Christie brought over some pictures of the Flavorpill Halloween party, so if you have any need to see me in my HipHop gear, just give a holla.

Tonight we will be heading to 7B for the triumphant return of Sir Paul Von Bothe. He has spent the past 6 or 8 months in Wisconsin selling sheet metal to rednecks. I'm so happy he left, but it will be cool to see him again, even if he is on all fours.

The Ticker...

This is for all my readers who are between the ages 12-18. Phantom Planet has lost Jason Schwartzman and gained a hard edge. Hopefully their will be an O.C. Squared so they can provide another boring theme song.

I can't get enough of these E.O.Y. lists. Exclaim gives us their north of the border opinion on the haps of the craps for 2003.

The Michigan circle of life. Isn't it a beautiful thing? Pop + White = genius.

Someone had better tell Hawkins Pham that security at JFK is taking down any Hawkins who attempt to fly out of their airport. While Justin was getting questioned by authorities, Frankie was showing off his goods.

Keith Richards keeping it punk rock so the rest of the Stones don't have to.

The end of an era for a NYC staple. NYU couldn't have any rock seeping into their community.

Spin gets to know the the Scottish four-piece Franz Ferdinand on their recent trip through NYC. Graeme, a native Glasgwegian, exclaims "Long Live the Arch Duke!" Get on the hype train and ride...

If you ask me, NYC is headed in the right direction. I know a lot of my pals are guilty of stealing center pieces.

Lenny Kravitz usually sucks as much as post Zooropa Bono, but this is pretty fucking hilarious.

Song that won't clear from between my ears: Fear, I Love Livin' in the City.
