Thanksgiving came and went...

Another Turkey Day is in the books and I must say it was pretty amazing. The dinner my mother prepared was a little bit of fantastic, and I found a unique comfort in falling asleep on the couch rather than running out to get loaded. We did end up at my long-time friend and just about brother, Matt's house for some low stakes gambling which is always a good time.

Today I'm trying to figure out if I can get a ride back home so Kyle and I can get packing for the big move on Sunday. If you are in the NYC area this Sunday and want to work for free beer and wings, give me a call, I'll put you on the payroll. Either way, I'll be back where I belong soon enough.

A jigger of news...

The Rolling Stones 40 Licks tour brings in a solid amount of cash, but it still doesn't stand up to the Voodoo Lounge Tour. Will these guys ever stop rocking? Let's hope not.

Our favorite anti-establishment Swedish rockers decide to cut the crap and cash in on their expanding cult fanbase.

The crazy blokes of Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster haven't disappeared. They have been busy getting a single ready that will probably make your ears bleed and your arms swing.

Chris Martin and the rest of the limey's in Coldplay were writing a song for the Man in Black before he was sent off to reunite with June. What will they do with it? Who cares?

Moby, Henley, Matthews?!? What the fuck? Should I start liking these guys because of what they are fighting for? Nah, but it is still nice to know they are aligning the masses.

Chuck Klosterman of Spin takes a minute to explore the relationship between death and rock immortality. Read this one and get learned.

Music getting me through this cold weather: Cash, Live at San Quentin.
