The new news.

Pitchfork gives us the their picks for the Top 100 Albums of the 1990's. Today we get the first installment which consists of #60-100. See how your catelog matches up.

Rolling Stone has done the list thing bigger and better. Their latest issue features the Top 500 albums of all time as voted by the likes of Malkmus, Beck, some Strokes and many more.

Lover, Movie Star, Guitarhero. Jack White contributes five tracks to the film Cold Moutain in which he also appeared in.

For those of you who have never been lucky enough to sit down with Please Kill Me here is a Rolling Stone teaser about one of the book's stars.

The Guardian goes backdoor on the Strokes. The part about no beer at the afterparty makes me feel bad for them. Or not.
