Final Hours: The Darkness Ticket Contest for NYC Show!

Will take submissions till 4pm. The winner will be informed and posted after that time. Here is your one and only chance to see England's finest glam rock champions The Darkness! You don't have to take our word as the testement of the rock. Check out what Tony Blair has to say. We here at Good Times Roll want to help you see this act with your own eyes. One lucky winner will receive a FREE ticket to the Sold Out show at Irving Plaza on Tuesday, November 18. You will have the option of hitting happy hour with the crew at Bside prior to heading for the rock show.

Please send an email here that includes your Name, Phone Number, and Email Address along with a single sentence (10 word cap. We mean it fuckers) on why you should be the choosen one. We will pick our 10 favorite answers, and then randomly select out of that pool. We will announce the winner on Monday. Good Luck and God Speed.

The Darkness Happy Hour.

It has come to my attention that all those with tickets to the Tuesday show at Irving (and the number is over 20) should make themselves available for a post work/rolling out of bed happy hour. We should make our scene at Bside (Ave B between 11th and 12th). I will be there as early as possible which means 6pm. Lets make this happen cause we will all want to be at proper level of bevvie by the time the Hawkins brothers hit the stage.

My apologies for not making it to Bside last night. I'm sure Mike threw down a solid set.

A Spot of News.

The Black Keys cancel their UK tour due to exhaustion and a broken bone.

I've seen the Queer Eye show before, but I wasn't to heartbroken when their was talk of cancelation. I'm posting this for Paul Bothe, you may now sigh in relief.

So Slayer predicted 9/11. Metal has been taken to a whole new level. (link via Prefix).
