This message goes out to all the kids I forgot to call last night. I'm deeply sorry for any strife I may have caused, but rest assured I was drunk and in bed by 12:30am. After a long day, 5 hours of sleep the previous evening and a solid 4 hour block of playing cards and getting tossed, I went into my bedroom to make a phone call. Upon emerging, it appeared as though everyone had split. My roommate, who was more than tossed, informed me that the group had moved on to Grassroots. There was little deliberation as to whether or not I would pass out. Obviously, the former prevailed. I hope you all had a killer evening.
Sunday Evening Good Times.
Make sure to get off your ass this evening so we can send the weekend off in style. Tonight at Ms. Sivan's watering hole, Bside (Ave B, btwn 12/13), Mike Realistic will be kicking off the new Sunday and Monday DJ sets. Come and listen in awe as Mike spins the best rock and roll you've never heard. He hits the decks around 10pm and will keep it rocking until 2am. Come early if you have work. Stay late if you don't. Sivan will make sure to keep the ice cubes cold and the Whiskey/Rheingold special stocked.
